I love Shanghai! So much cooler than Beijing. The metro really is wonderful, and I also don't think the food is too expensive, so long as one goes to the right places! I just recommend eating where all the locals eat.

There's one neighborhood in the city that I desperately loved- it was more historical and international in nature, but I can't remember its name for the life of me. Do you know what I might be thinking of, travelgurrl?
